Dojo Films and Metia brought us in to help launch Dell’s Rugged Series, laptops and tablets tough enough for the British Armed Forces.

The goal was simple. Capture the kit in action, show its resilience in real environments, and make it feel as tough and capable as the people who use it.

This one was all about planning. Multiple partners involved. High-security locations. Moving parts everywhere.

We worked with Dojo Films from the start to map everything out properly, locations, aerial permissions, health and safety, unit logistics, so when shoot days came, everyone could just get stuck in.

The shoot itself blended clean product beauty with real-world grit. We kept the setup light and mobile, filming in genuine operational environments without slowing anyone down.

Post-production was handled in-house, tying the footage together with a clean, high-energy edit that brought the story and the tech to life.

The final film launched at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition to brilliant reception.

Dell rolled out the campaign across 2021 and 2022, using the content to promote the Rugged Series across their UK and European markets — with the devices now a go-to choice for extreme field use.
